At Pizza Works, we believe that the best
pizza doesn't cut any corners. That's why,
for nearly two decades we have been
making pizza that is anything but ordinary.
It starts with our very own secret dough
recipe made in small batches daily from the
best ingredients available. Every pizza is
made to order, hand tossed for your
entertainment, topped with fresh vegetables,
meats and cheeses, and baked in a manually-operated, genuine stone oven, the
way it should be.

We also offer a delectable selection of pastas, calzones, sandwiches and salads,
so you're sure to find something for everyone! We use Grandpa John Rotondo's
original spaghetti sauce recipe and we're sure it's the best spaghetti sauce around.

Pizza Works is a casual place where
you can bring the whole family. Over
the years we have expanded our
seating to include a vine-covered
outdoor seating area with a dazzling
floral display, a private party room,
and an arcade for a little something
for the kids.
The building Pizza Works calls home is truly
straight out of history. As one of the oldest
buildings in Custer, the Pizza Works was
originally home to the Garlock Opera House in the
late 1800s, a place to entertain the early settlers of
the town during the gold rush. Since then, the
building has been home to a silent movie theater
and most recently a musical variety show.

In 1994, the building underwent a year-long
renovation and became the Pizza Works. During
the renovations, construction workers unearthed
a cache of silent movie posters that date back to
1920 and historic photographs of the building's
colorful past. These posters and historic photos
are on display on location. Come see what makes
Pizza Works the best place to eat in the Black Hills!
